Treatment for drinking water production involves the removal of contaminants from raw water to produce water that is pure enough for human consumption without any short term or long term risk of any adverse health effect. The Australian government states that water fluoridation is the most effective way to achieve fluoride exposure that is community-wide.

Construction:

  • Two Ion exchange MSRL / FRP shell, one is Cation Exchanger and other is Anion Exchange fitted with MSRL / PVC pipe lines, valves, strainers and filled up with Cation and Anion Exchange Resigns and containing Acid and Alkali proof pots for regeneration.


Operation:

  • In the simplest system the raw water flows successful through a Cation Exchanger regenerated with acid an Anion Exchanger regenerated with caustic soda. When the raw water passes through Cation Exchanger all the Cations are retained by the resin and there is no longer anything in the water but the acids of the salts it contained initially. Then the water passes through Anion Exchanger which absorbs the Acids and thus the D.M water is produced.
